SPRING NEWS
As the chill of winter continues to linger, we know that it is not far to
SPRING. Spring fabrics are a welcome sight in the shop. The Spring
Stroll in the Country Garden Party will begin on Friday, March 28th and
run through Saturday, April 5th.
Long Arm classes are being scheduled for Saturday, April 12th and
Saturday, May 10th. These dates will be the last classes scheduled for
the long arm.
A fun day has been planned on Saturday April 19th for those interested
in a one fabric quilt. It will be an in house retreat with a quilt that you
have to see to believe.
Spring cleaning sale is Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd.
A new fast tracked block of the month will start in May. The pattern
line in Full Sun and the pattern is called Kindred Spirit. Once again you
will have to take two blocks each time you come in with your finished
block, but you will set your own pace. Space is limited, so please sign up
early so that you won't be left out.
Over the summer, open house sewing will be scheduled which means that
you can come in and sew on your own projects. We all have unfinished
projects that we want or need to finish.
Plans are well under way for the second Minnesota Quilt shop hop. The
state has been re-divided and each section has a designer assigned to
develop a pattern. The section we are in has Heather Mulder Peterson
from Anka's Treasures.
A SIXTH anniversary celebration is being planned for the last week in
August.
I try to keep things interesting to spark your interests. May this
