CURRENT EVENTS



Cobblestone Lane Block of the Month  –   Starts Monday,  Jan 4th  thru Saturday  
Saturday, Jan. 16th.  For the first month, I am offering  an extended start period.  I
chose the Blessings line from Moda for this project.  It will be a six month program,
so each month you will be given fabric to make two identical blocks  Cost is $10 to
participate  and $18 per month which will pay for your finishing kit.  Approximately
20 opening left.

Village Green Block of the Month  –  Starts Monday  Jan 4th thru Saturday,  
Jan16th.  For the first month, I am offering an extended start period.    I have
chosen the Midnight color option for this  96 x 106 quilt by Thimbleberries. At press
time, I have yet to receive the shop kit that I ordered, so will only be able to show
you the blocks that I have made so far.  Thimbleberries always have well written
instructions to follow.  Cost is $10 to participate and $9 per month which will pay
for your finishing kit.  Approximately  10 openings.  

Super Bowl Sunday Sale – Sunday, February 7th  -   Pick your own discount is back
at Gone To Pieces, The Flying Goose in New London and Sweetwater Cotton Shoppe in
Paynesville.  All stores will be open from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. and all stores will
have some sort of a way for you to pick your own discount coupon.  Refreshments will
be served at Gone To Pieces.  Discounts will range from 10% to 40% off all regular
prices.  

Daffodil Dash Spring Stroll   – Friday, March 19th thru Saturday, March 27th.  All
shops will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19th and both Saturdays until 5:
00   all remaining hours will be the shops regular hours.    Each shop will be giving
away a pattern and will have a drawing for a $75 Gift Basket.  Grand prize will be 1
- two night stay for the St. Cloud Minnesota Quilt Show in June.  With a $10
purchase, receive a charm.  Participating shops are  Quilts on Broadway  in  Foley,
Cole’s Country Treasures Quilt Shop in Princeton,  Country Caboose Quilts inWahkon,
Fat Quarter Quilting in Coon Rapids,  Heavenly Patchwork in  Waconia,  DeAnn’s
Country Village in Litchfield and Gone To Pieces in Kimball.


Spring Retreat – Saturday, March 6th and Sunday March 7th.  Reservations have
been made at Camp Courage for another fun time.  Currently looking for some fun
projects to work on.  Cost is $65.00.  A $30 deposit is required to hold your spot. –
you will be reserving your bedroom at the same time.  Your are asked to bring some
sort of dish or snack to share.  Retreat starts at 12:00 noon and we must be out of
there by 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Be ready for some games.
                               
                            

                               FUTURE EVENTS

        
Back to Nature Block of the Month – Starts May 3rd.  It will once again be a project
that you do at you’re your pace.  The first month you must pick up 2 blocks and after
that you may come in at any time and pick up as many blocks as you want.  

Summer clearance sale – Friday, June 18th  and Saturday, June 19th

Quilt Minnesota  – Friday, July 30th thru Sunday, August 15th.

8th Anniversary Celebration at Gone To Pieces – Monday August 23rd thru Saturday,
August 28th.
